Employer-funded · Delivered by clinical partners

Give every employee an annual health MOT.

One preventative health assessment a year, for every person on your team. Physical checks and venous blood analysis at partner clinics nationwide — and a clear, plain-English report at the end.

Regulated UK clinical partners, nationwide Results stay private — employers see utilisation only Rollout in weeks, with almost no admin for HR

Employers fund it

A funded assessment for every employee — set up once, renewed annually.

Clinical partners deliver it

Regulated third-party clinics and laboratories handle every clinical step, nationwide.

Employees own the results

Every report goes directly to the person it belongs to — never through their employer.

Why prevention

Most benefits help when something goes wrong. Vela works before that point.

Health insurance, virtual GPs and employee assistance all respond to problems. An annual health MOT helps employees understand their health while there is still nothing to respond to.

1 in 31

High blood pressure

Around one in three adults in England has high blood pressure — and many don't know it.

1 in 52

Diabetes or prediabetes

About one in five UK adults lives with diabetes or prediabetes, often without symptoms.

5 years3

Between NHS checks

Eligible adults are usually invited for an NHS Health Check once every five years. Vela is annual.

The employee journey

From employer benefit to employee insight, in five simple steps

One short appointment a year, and a report each person actually understands — told in five steps, from the employee's side.

The invitation

A voucher lands in your inbox

Your employer covers the cost. One personal voucher — nothing to pay, nothing to fill in, no one watching over your shoulder.

The booking

Choose a clinic that suits your life

Partner clinics nationwide, near home or work. Book a time that fits around your week — mornings, lunchtimes or after work.

The assessment

Twenty minutes, done properly

A healthcare professional takes your physical measurements and a venous blood sample — analysed in an accredited laboratory, not a postal finger-prick kit.

The results

A report only you can open

Clinicians at our partners review every result, then send you a plain-English report — what was measured, what it means, and anything worth discussing with your GP.

Next year

Watch your health, year on year

The MOT comes back annually. Each year adds a new data point, so employees see how their markers move over time — and health becomes a habit, not a one-off event.

Step 1 of 5

What's measured

One appointment. A complete picture.

Every employee receives the same comprehensive assessment — no tiers, no upgrades, no add-ons. Four areas, measured properly.

Physical health

Blood pressure, resting heart rate, BMI, waist and oxygen saturation — measured in clinic by a healthcare professional.

Core blood markers

A venous draw analysed in an accredited laboratory — 56+ markers covering metabolic health, heart health, organ function and key vitamins.

Private clinical insight

Every result reviewed by a clinician and explained in a plain-English report — what was measured, what it means, and what to raise with a GP.

All clinical services — questionnaires, sample collection, laboratory analysis and results delivery — are provided by regulated third-party clinical partners. The assessment supports understanding and conversation with a GP; it does not diagnose conditions or replace medical care.

Two views. One firm boundary.

The employee sees everything about their own health. The employer sees only whether the benefit is being used. That separation is built into how Vela works — not added as a policy.

No names. No results. No health data. Ever.

Aggregate utilisation reporting — enough to know the benefit is working.

Results go straight to the employee

Reports are delivered by our clinical partners directly to each individual. HR never receives a copy.

Vela never holds clinical results

Individual clinical data is handled by regulated clinical partners — Vela Vitals does not receive or store it.

Employers see utilisation only

Anonymised, aggregate uptake data shows the benefit is valued — nothing more.

Clinical services are delivered by third-party clinical partners. Vela Vitals is not a clinic, laboratory or medical provider — and does not diagnose, treat or replace GP care.

For employers

Good for your people. Simple for your business.

A tangible annual benefit employees actually understand and use — prevention-focused, with no clinical infrastructure to build and no medical records for HR to hold.

One voucher, one invoice

A single annual voucher per employee, distributed by email or through your HR platform. One invoice covers the whole team.

No health records held by HR

You never touch health data. Clinical information stays with regulated partners and the employee — zero data risk for your team.

Full visibility on uptake

Monthly booking and completion rates give you the evidence for renewal decisions — without touching anyone's privacy.

  • A tangible annual benefit employees understand — not another unused perk
  • Launch communications included — employees know exactly what they're getting
  • Complements PMI, EAP, virtual GP and occupational health
  • No employer access to individual medical results, by design
  • Prevention-focused, with no clinical infrastructure for you to build
  • Works for distributed teams — clinics near home, not just head office

Your benefits respond to problems. Vela comes first.

Vela Vitals complements the benefits you already offer — it doesn't replace any of them.

When someone is ill

Before any of that

Vela Vitals — the annual health MOT

A yearly moment for every employee to understand their health while they're well — so the rest of your benefits stack gets used earlier and better.

Employers should seek independent advice regarding the tax treatment of health benefits.

Questions

Questions benefits teams ask first

Straight answers, before the demo. Anything else — hello@velavitals.com.

Is Vela Vitals a clinic or medical provider?
No. Vela Vitals is the employer-benefits layer. All clinical services — questionnaires, sample collection, laboratory analysis, clinical review and results delivery — are provided by regulated third-party clinical partners. Vela does not diagnose, treat, or replace GP care.
Who sees an employee's results?
Only the employee. Reports are delivered directly and privately by our clinical partners. Vela Vitals does not receive or store individual clinical results, and employers receive anonymised utilisation reporting only — never names, never health data.
What does the assessment involve?
A single appointment of around 20 minutes at a partner clinic: physical checks (blood pressure, heart rate, BMI, waist, oxygen saturation) and a venous blood draw analysed in an accredited laboratory. Each employee then receives a clinician-reviewed report in plain English.
How much work is it for HR?
Minutes, not weeks. You share a voucher list, we provide launch communications, employees book privately, and clinical partners handle delivery. One invoice, one renewal conversation a year.
Does it replace our PMI, virtual GP or EAP?
No — it comes before them. Vela is the preventative layer: an annual moment of understanding while people are well. If something in a report is worth acting on, employees take it to their GP or the benefits you already provide.
How is it priced?
A flat annual price per employee, covering the full assessment with no tiers or add-ons. We'll share pricing for your team size on a short demo call. Employers should seek independent advice regarding tax treatment.
